Job Description

RB-Ware is building next-generation autonomous welding and metal-fabrication robots. Our no-code, cobot welding systems are already deployed across Korea, Europe, Australia, and the United States—and we’re now expanding our AI and autonomy team to accelerate development of our next-generation platform. We combine robotics, computer vision, machine learning, and sensor fusion to address the global shortage in fabricators and make welding automation ultra-accessible. If you want to work on real robots, and real industrial problems—this role is for you.1. Autonomous Welding / Robotics Software DevelopmentDesign software architecture for autonomous welding robotsImplement coordinate transformations, motion control pipelines, and multi-sensor fusionDevelop perception modules for seam detection, feature extraction, 3D geometry understandingBuild path-generation and weld-planning algorithms for real production environments2. Computer Vision & Machine LearningDevelop CV pipelines using cameras, LiDAR, structured-light 3D sensors, weld cameras, etc.Train and deploy ML models for detection, segmentation, geometry reconstruction, and trackingWork on real-time inference and optimization to run on industrial hardwareContribute to R&D of autonomous corrective behaviors (arc-sensing, adaptive control, etc.)3. System Integration for RoboticsIntegrate algorithms with cobots, welding machines, and sensorsBuild and maintain real-time data streams and synchronization frameworksDeploy code to production systems used by customers worldwideWork closely with UI/UX developers (Flutter) to define APIs and data interfaces4. Testing, Experimentation & Field ValidationRun experiments with real robots, welders, and test jigsDiagnose performance issues, improve stability, and optimize for latencyMentor junior developers and help shape RB-Ware’s growing autonomy teamWhat We’re Looking For5+ years of software development experienceBachelor’s degree in CS, Robotics, EE, or related fieldsStrong proficiency in Python or C++Solid understanding of 3D geometry, matrices, coordinate frames, kinematicsExperience with real-time systems, socket/network communication, or sensor data processingHands-on experience in robotics or hardware-control projectsAbility to collaborate in English with global team membersAbility to mentor junior engineers and lead feature-level developmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with 3D sensors (LiDAR, stereo, structured light, depth cameras)Experience with industrial protocols (Modbus/TCP, CAN, OPC-UA, etc.)Background in machine vision, SLAM, or motion planningExperience with Isaac Sim, ROS/ROS2, or similar robotics simulation toolsPrevious startup experience or ownership of end-to-end product modulesWhy Join RB-Ware?Work on real robots solving real manufacturing problemsBuild core technology that impacts global metal fabricationFast-moving, engineering-driven cultureDirect ownership of modules shipped to dozens of companies worldwideGlobal team with deployments across Asia, Europe, and North AmericaIf you want to build AI-enabled robots that perform real industrial work—and ship your code to manufacturing floors around the world—we’d love to meet you.Apply now or reach out directly.
