Job Description

About PDQPDQ, founded in Salt Lake City, UT, USA, makes device management simple, secure, and Pretty Damn Quick through our products Deploy, Inventory, Connect, Detect, SimpleMDM and SmartDeploy. IT teams use our products to reduce complexity, improve efficiency, and enhance control in their unique environments. We are backed by TA Associates and Berkshire Partners, top-tier global private equity firms. PDQ's Core Values: Honesty, Ownership, Collaboration and ImprovementJob DescriptionPDQ is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial Senior Sales Manager to lead and scale our Strategic Account Management team.

This role is tailor-made for a builder — someone who thrives in ambiguity, knows how to pull on threads until they become strategies, and isn’t afraid to get in the trenches with reps to figure out what works. This team’s mission is to drive expansion ARR within our existing customer base — which includes K-12 schools, universities, cities/counties, and state entities — by leveraging strong relationships, network-based referrals, and additional product sales.

This is a relatively new motion at PDQ, so we’re looking for someone who’s passionate about shaping and scaling a high-impact expansion strategy from the ground up. You’ll be the strategic architect and hands-on leader — helping the team succeed by building trust, coaching discovery and pipeline generation, and identifying the connective tissue between one-off customer wins and scalable go-to-market plays. What You'll Be DoingStrategy & Team LeadershipLead, coach, and support a team of Strategic Account Managers, with a focus on execution, growth, and trust-building. Define and iterate on our Strategic Accounts playbook:

how we expand in public sector networks, influence referrals, and sell across our product portfolio. Identify patterns across customers and opportunities to build repeatable, high-ROI campaigns. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, RevOps, and Customer Success to inform strategy and execution. Analyze performance metrics and pipeline to drive forecast accuracy, rep coaching, and continuous improvement. Tactical Sales SupportJoin customer calls to support reps, coach discovery, and help close complex deals. Dive deep into customer ecosystems (e. g. procurement programs, peer networks, state buying schedules) to unlock new paths to growth.

Assist with messaging, outreach strategy, and deal strategy across the team. Conduct scrappy research and pattern-matching to identify referral paths and untapped product fits. Customer-Centric GrowthGuide reps in building strong, trust-based relationships with public sector IT professionals. Help reps align PDQ products with key customer initiatives, use cases, and pain points. Promote multi-threaded selling — understanding motivations across the buying committee and arming reps with the right messaging and business cases. What Makes You a Great FitBuilder Mentality: You’ve successfully taken sales strategies or motions from 0 to 1 and love rolling up your sleeves. Leadership DNA:

2+ years experience leading and developing SaaS sales teams. You invest in your people, build trust, and lead by example. SaaS Sales Expertise: 3+ years of B2B SaaS sales or account management experience. You understand multi-product selling and expansion dynamics. Customer Obsession: You love solving problems for customers and helping reps grow in their ability to do the same. Analytical & Strategic: You’re skilled at pattern recognition, can spot what’s working, and know how to scale it. Strong Communicator: You’re clear, empathetic, and able to coach nuanced customer conversations across stakeholders.

You can also effectively report on progress, obstacles, needs, etc to senior leadership about your team’s efforts. Bonus PointsExperience selling into public sector customers (especially education or state/local government). Experience using Salesforce and outbound sales tools. A passion for mentoring others and fostering a culture of learning and psychological safety.
