Senior Service Delivery Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Operations Engineer with strong expertise in VMware, Windows systems, and banking IT environments. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth infrastructure operations aligned with SLAs, provide technical leadership, and support continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to industry best practices and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Operational Excellence & Service ManagementWork as part of the Infrastructure team to ensure seamless operations in compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).Establish IT Service Management (ITSM) standards, processes, and guidelines in accordance with industry best practices.Assist the Service Delivery Manager in daily operational governance and reporting.Ensure production environment availability aligned with business needs and SLAs.Monitor system performance to ensure high availability and optimal functionality.Conduct capacity planning and resource utilization analysis.Update and maintain operational and technical documentation.Technical Leadership & ConsultancyProvide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.Offer consultancy to business stakeholders on system performance, integration, and configuration improvements.Participate in middleware upgrades and patching planning and execution.Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for high-severity issues and drive timely resolution with cross-functional teams.Review incident reports and ensure compliance with change and release management processes.Troubleshooting & Continuous ImprovementLead diagnosis and resolution of system issues or malfunctions in coordination with application teams/vendors.Enhance operational workflows through automation using tools/scripts (Shell, Perl, Python, PowerShell).Recommend optimization strategies for improved system and resource performance.Experience Required1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure operations within the banking industry (mandatory).Strong background in Windows system administration.Minimum 5 years of VMware experience with solid knowledge in:HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastructure)SDDC, ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-VExperience with VMware automation tooling (vRA, vRO). Experience in:Security patch automation and vulnerability managementSetting up environments across Dev, QA, and ProductionSoftware-defined infrastructure stackActive Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Proxy & Firewall operations.Technical SkillsHands-on scripting proficiency in Shell, Perl, Python, or PowerShell.Knowledge of monitoring tools and performance analysis techniques.Familiarity with Government Data Centre (GDC) onboarding and Singapore Government infrastructure policies (advantageous).Certifications (Preferred)VMware Certified Professional (VCP)AWS Certified Solutions Architect / EngineerITIL Foundation certification or equivalent Service Management qualification
