Our commitment to excellence helps our clients achieve their digital objectives effectively.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Software Engineer specializing in Shopify, located in Lahore. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Shopify-based applications and integrations. Daily tasks include coding, debugging, and ensuring the performance and scalability of web solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features is also part of the role.Education & ExperienceDegree(s)/Major(s): Bachelor or equivalent degree from a reputed educational Institute preferably in computer science, web development, or a related field (preferred).Certification(s): Not mandatory but certification in a relevant field will be considered a plus.Minimum 5 years of experience developing and maintaining Shopify eCommerce sites and applications.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Shopify eCommerce sites and applications, including custom themes and Apps.Collaborate with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions that meet business needsLeading Shopify integrations with Third Party Services (Logistics, Shipping, Payment Gateways, …).Lead and execute Shopify development projects from start to finishMentor and provide guidance to junior developersOptimize site performance and ensure the best possible user experienceTroubleshoot and debug issues as neededKeep up-to-date with Shopify best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologiesEnsure compliance with coding standards and industry best practicesParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedbackContinuously improve development processes and workflowsRequirementsStrong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQueryThe deep technical know-how of Shopify and how to setup stores from scratchSound knowledge of Shopify REST APIs and Shopify Templates, and Shopify coding technologyExperience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and app developmentExperience with Shopify Apps and their integration with the Shopify ecosystemTechnical knowledge of Shopify FlowDeep understanding of Shopify for B2C, and B2B (Wholesalers)Deep understanding of how to use Shopify as a headless eCommerce (for some particular stores)Proficient in version control systems such as GitFamiliarity with Agile development methodologiesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExperience with other eCommerce platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, or BigCommerce is a plus.BenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work on challenging and impactful projectsWork with a talented and experienced teamBe a part of a growing and innovative companyIf you are passionate about Shopify and eCommerce development, have strong leadership skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
