Senior Site Manager

BHA Construction is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Site Manager to lead delivery of a new residential development in Waterford. This is a key site-based leadership role within one of Ireland’s fastest-growing construction companies, offering a clear path to becoming a Contracts Manager within 18 months for the right ambitious candidate.The RoleYou’ll take full ownership of day-to-day delivery on site — driving programme, quality, and safety standards, while coordinating subcontractors, design teams, and internal resources to ensure the successful completion of each phase.Key ResponsibilitiesManage site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to BHA’s standards.Lead weekly site coordination meetings with subcontractors and the design team.Track progress against programme and proactively resolve delays or bottlenecks.Ensure full compliance with BCAR, H&S, and Quality Management processes.Work with the Contracts Manager and QS to manage budgets, variations, and progress claims.Provide strong leadership and mentoring to site engineers, foremen, and subcontractor teams.About You5+ years’ experience in a site management role, ideally in residential developments.Proven track record of delivering multi-unit projects to completion.Strong technical knowledge of construction sequencing, finishes, and quality standards.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ambitious, proactive, and eager to progress into a Contracts Manager role.Why Join BHAA forward-thinking Irish contractor with significant growth plans in both Ireland and the UK.Genuine progression pathway to Contracts Manager within 18 months.Exposure to high-quality residential developments and modern construction systems.Supportive leadership team and culture that rewards initiative and performance.
