We’re looking for a talented professional to join our growing family at Elephant Teams and play a key role in supporting our clients.What You’ll Be Doing:As an SMSF Accountant, you will play a key role in preparing financial reports and statements, while liaising with clients and stakeholders to address SMSF-related queries and deliver exceptional client service. Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, SuperMate, and BGL Simple Fund 360 will be highly regarded.Your main responsibilities:Preparation of Financial Documents: Prepare and review SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and audit workpapers in accordance with relevant accounting standards and legislationWorking with Accounting platforms: Process transactions, bank reconciliations, and investment revaluations using software such as Class, BGL360, or SuperMate, Xero and Microsoft ExcelCollaborations with Clients and Stakeholders: Liaise with auditors, trustees, and clients regarding SMSF queries and deliver high-quality client service.Assist with admin tasks: Support senior team members in workflow management, training, and process improvements.What your profile will look like:Must have - Minimum of 3+ years experience: Demonstrable experience as an SMSF Accountant.Must have -Degree in Finance or Accounting and Qualified in CIMA, CMA, ACCA, or CAMust have - strong communication skills: Fluent written & oral English skills is a must.Must have - Australian client experience: Experience working for Australian companies or clients, is a must.Must have – Knowledge in using SMSF Administration Platforms - Class Super / BGL Simple Fund 360 / SuperMate and Accounting & Tax Software - Xero / MYOB / Reckon / HandiTaxBenefits of joining the Elephant Teams family:Fully Remote Work: WFH, always.
