We're expanding platforms that support thousands of students and teams worldwide:TimeBack: An educational platform that drives Alpha School's 2-hour learning model (achieving 99th percentile test outcomes).Incept: A content generation platform producing all personalized educational materials for various learning applications deployed at Alpha School.Crossover: An AI-powered hiring platform handling tens of thousands of applications monthly, enabling staffing solutions for schools and companies around the globe.You will take ownership of one platform and dedicate the majority of your time to constructing the most complex components of the codebase with a compact team (3-5 seasoned engineers, no junior members). The architectural choices you make will dictate whether other teams can swiftly develop new applications, integrate seamlessly, and deliver value to students. Correct decisions unlock significant leverage. Poor choices spawn integration chaos and degrade velocity across numerous teams.You design, build, and operate your own work. You define quality standards and establish patterns for your platform. Our approach is specification-driven: design precedes implementation, planning comes before building. You will experience high autonomy with no committees or review boards.
