Hungry, Humble, Honest, with Heart.The OpportunityWe are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (Automation Engineer) with extensive experience in automation development, strategy, and testing skills to be part of our dynamic Nutanix Cloud Manager team.About The TeamAt Nutanix Cloud Manager, we are trying to build the next generation platform to help enterprises model, develop and manage applications. We want to give them the ability to encapsulate not only infrastructure but even the application – its architecture and deployment “as code”.You will be reporting to the Senior Manager Engineering, QA - NCM Team.Your RoleWe are looking for passionate Member of Technical Staff 4 Engineer and highly motivated individual who can own the end-to-end quality.You will be required to ensure that product releases adhere to the highest quality norms. You will design and develop a testing framework for our products and be part of a ruthless quality team. You will develop test tools, test cases, maintain test beds, and provide metrics and test/quality status.What You Will BringA minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record as a self-starter who flourishes in a fast-paced technology environment.Excellent programming and scripting capabilities (Python, Java, PHP) to develop robust code for automated tests.Strong problem-solving skills with a solid foundation in algorithms and data structures.Expertise with automation and build tools such as Selenium, JMeter, and Jenkins.A strong systems background, particularly with Linux systems and tools for process, memory, and I/O management.Experience leading end-to-end product qualification for key features.A collaborative spirit with a commitment to actively participating in coding and code reviews.A passion for open-source technologies and a drive to innovate.The ability to take ownership of automation and delivery systems, enabling our engineering teams to generate high-quality releases with every commit, discover defects early, and iterate rapidly.Work ArrangementHybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
