Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

Healthx is seeking a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer (Backend) with strong expertise in FastAPI to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience leading a team, designing scalable backend systems, and ensuring high code quality and performance. You will play a key role in architecting, developing, and optimizing backend services for our products.Job Responsibilities:Lead a team of software engineers to design, develop, and maintain backend systems using FastAPI.Develop and maintain robust, secure, and scalable REST APIs for production systems.Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability.Manage sprint planning, code deployment, and development workflow.Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the robustness and reliability of applications.Demonstrate a flexible mindset and ability to switch projects efficiently as per business needs.Independently manage all responsibilities, ensuring project goals and deadlines.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of professional experience in backend development.Strong proficiency in FastAPI and Python.Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL and SQLAlchemy.Solid understanding of API design, RBAC, authentication and RESTful architecture.Familiarity with React/Next.js or front-end integration workflows.Familiarity with Hostinger and AWS services such as EC2, S3, and Amplify.Proven leadership experience managing small- to mid-sized engineering teams.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.Previous experience working on e-commerce sites is a plus.Working Days: Saturday to Thursday (Friday off, Saturday work from home)Working Hours: 9 AM to 6 PMEmployment Type: Full-timeSalary: NegotiableJob Type: On-siteJoining: ImmediateNote: Please do not apply if you do not have at least 3 years of professional experience.How to Apply:If you are passionate and  looking to contribute to exciting projects, we look forward to receiving your application.
