If you have an architectural mindset but still love rolling up your sleeves and writing great code, this is a role where you’ll make a real and lasting impact.Role OverviewAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will be at the heart of designing and building our new core platform. You’ll work with Laravel (or .NET) and modern AI-assisted development tools to architect solutions, implement features, and guide technical decisions across the stack.This is a role for someone who is self-driven, pragmatic, and not afraid to challenge assumptions. You embrace modern development practices, enjoy exploring new technologies, and see AI as a natural part of your workflow. Your voice will matter — and so will your code.Key Responsibilities·        Architect, design, and build the foundational platform for Carzelle A/S.·        Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel or .NET.·        Use AI tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, testing, debugging, and documentation.·        Drive technical discussions and challenge solutions to ensure high-quality outcomes.·        Collaborate closely with product owners and developers to deliver new features.·        Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and security.·        Integrate third-party APIs, SaaS services, and AI-driven components.·        Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve existing applications.·        Contribute to code reviews, architectural decisions, and engineering best practices.·     Stay ahead of emerging technologies — especially in AI and automation — and bring forward ideas to strengthen our platform and processes.Qualifications·        Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similar role.·        Strong skills in Laravel/PHP or .NET, with the ability to design robust backend solutions.·        Solid experience with relational databases.·        Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).·       Experience with ecommerce platforms (B2B or B2C), including integrations, workflows, and performance optimization.·        Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).·        Strong architectural thinking combined with a hands-on development mindset.·        Comfortable taking ownership, working independently, and driving initiatives forward.·        Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.·        Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).·        Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows.·        Interest in using AI for automation, analytics, or enhanced customer experiences.What We Offer·        A key role in building Carzelle A/S’s new organizational platform from the ground up.·        A dynamic, innovative tech environment where AI and modern tools are part of everyday development.·        Real ownership, influence, and the freedom to shape how we build for the future.·       A supportive, ambitious team where your ideas are welcomed and your impact is visible. LocationSkodstrup, DenmarkOnsite How to ApplyIf this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, please send your CV and a short cover letter to Frances Olesen - fjo@carzelle.com, explaining why you would be a great fit for this role.
