In short: shaping FinTech.We are looking for aSenior Software Engineer (Consumer Ledger team)to join our team in Tallinn Tech HubWe build and maintain core financial services that power Riverty’s consumer products. This includes systems for tracking customer account balances and ensuring financial data flows accurately across merchants and platforms. Whether working on transactional ledgers or customer-facing invoice flows, you’ll contribute to scalable, event-driven systems that support transparency, compliance, and a seamless user experience.What will be your challenge: You will join one of our product teams and daily you will:Design, develop, test, and ship robust, maintainable, and readable software, applications, APIs, and other workflowsInitiate, participate in, and communicate technical architecture designsAttend regular scrum ceremonies as a member of an agile cross-functional teamAnalyze, discuss, and implement business requirements while maintaining good documentation of the systems and components you createBring in industry standards and best practices to continually improve our codebase and architectureMake a positive impact on our engineering culture by adopting, implementing, and providing feedback on both organizational and industry standards and practicesWhat will help you to succeed in the role: Hands-on experience with C# and the .NET framework, with a minimum of 5 years of experienceExperience developing, shipping, and maintaining cloud-based applicationsGood knowledge and experience working with microservices and distributed architecturesStrong understanding of RESTful APIsExperience with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL ServerWorking knowledge of ORMs, preferably Entity FrameworkFamiliarity with cloud development; experience with Azure is a plusExperience with messaging platforms in distributed architectures (e.g., RabbitMQ, MassTransit, Kafka)Proficiency with containerization technologies such as DockerExperience with Kubernetes for container orchestrationTerraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Monitoring and observability experience using tools like NewRelicProficiency in both written and spoken EnglishExperience in the FinTech or banking industry is a plusEqual Opportunity Employer StatementWe want to be a fair and inclusive employer.
