Job PurposeTo assist Sourcing Managers and the Associate Director in carrying out procurement activities across multiple categories (Interior Fitouts, Facility Management, Logistics, and Technology) in a timely and cost-effective manner. The role aims to deliver best value for money in line with internal policies and procedures throughout the sourcing lifecycle, with a primary focus on interior fitout projects for luxury brand environments while also supporting broader procurement needs (including facilities services and technical/logistics requirements). Essential Roles and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Roles and ResponsibilitiesSourcing Strategy: Support the Sourcing Manager/Associate Director in the development of category and sourcing plans for a diverse range of categories (Fitout, FM, Logistics, Tech). Propose initiatives to enhance category performance, drive strategy execution, and identify savings or value optimization opportunities across these areas. Vendor Management: Assist Sourcing Managers in building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers across interior fitout, facility management, logistics, and technology categories. Ensure competitive pricing, quality service delivery. Market Analysis: Develop a broad market understanding of vendor capabilities in each category. Perform thorough market research and review industry reports (construction/interior, MEP services, logistics providers, IT vendors, etc.) to help identify emerging trends, benchmark costs, evaluate supply chain dynamics, and uncover new potential suppliers or innovative solutions. Risk Management: Support the Sourcing Manager in evaluating and mitigating risks associated with vendor performance, supplier relationships, contracts, and procurement processes. Analytics and Spend Optimization: Leverage ERP-based spend data to support monthly spend reviews across multiple categories. Assist in reviewing upcoming contract renewals and consolidate procurement needs to plan actions that manage category spend, reduce the number of ad-hoc tenders, and minimize maverick spending by business units.Functional Roles and Responsibilities Requirements Gathering: For assigned projects up to a defined value threshold (as set by Line Manager), collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand detailed procurement requirements, specifications, and timelines.RFx Processes: Support the Sourcing Manager in managing the entire RFx lifecycle (RFI, RFQ, RFP, RFS) for projects across the various categories.Supplier Evaluation: Obtain proposals and quotations from shortlisted vendors. Perform initial evaluation of vendor submissions in collaboration with the respective Business Units.Negotiation: Contribute to the development of negotiation strategies with the Sourcing Manager and participate in negotiations (under supervision) with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.Compliance: Ensure full understanding of, and adherence to, all internal policies and procedures throughout each stage of the sourcing and procurement process.Stakeholder ManagementSupport the Sourcing Manager in fostering strong engagement and rapport with key stakeholders across the organization.Communicate regularly and proactively with stakeholders through established meeting routines and reporting channels.Provide guidance and support to stakeholders regarding procurement policies and processes.Job RequirementsEducation/Certification and Continued EducationBachelor‘s Degree in Engineering or related Field Years of Experience 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, with significant exposure to interior fitout projects or interior construction procurement. Experience in additional categories such as facilities management, logistics, or technology procurement is highly desirable.Knowledge and Skills Experience in high-end interior fitout projects, preferably within luxury retail environments. Fitout / Construction Expertise: Proven experience in fitout sourcing and procurement. Facilities Management & MEP: Familiarity with procurement of facility management services and contracts. Logistics: Knowledge of procurement processes for logistics and supply chain services. Technology: Exposure to IT/Technology procurement. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Systems: Proficiency in e-sourcing and procurement tools (e.g., Ariba), ERP systems (ideally SAP), and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Presentation Skills: Ability to prepare clear presentations and reports. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
