Your missionAs a Senior Spatial Designer at Sunst, you develop and design brand spaces and immersive environments.You translate brand identity into spatial systems, structures, installations and objects — creating three-dimensional environments that express both contemporary culture and brand DNA.Your work includes:Brand spacesTemporary structuresImmersive brand environmentsInstallationsSpatial systemsObjects and bespoke furniture elementsThree-dimensional brand expressionsYou define the design language of a project and ensure it holds across scale — from a custom furniture detail to a full architectural takeover.You think in materiality, proportion, rhythm and construction logic.You design environments that feel intentional, precise and culturally relevant.You operate at the intersection of architecture, scenography and contemporary brand culture — with a clear focus on design authorship in space.Spatial Design & Brand ExpressionDesign spatial environments and objects with a strong aesthetic point of viewTranslate brand DNA into spatial expression, atmosphere and material languageShape form, proportion, rhythm and flow to create clear stylistic identityDevelop spatial concepts that express attitude, culture and narrativeDesign Development & RefinementTranslate conceptual ideas into coherent spatial proposals with visual clarityDefine material direction, surface logic and spatial compositionEnsure consistency and aesthetic integrity across all spatial elementsBalance realism and feasibility from a design-first perspectiveProduction Awareness & CollaborationWork closely with producers and technical partners to ensure feasibilityUnderstand construction logic and constraints without being defined by themGuide detailing and material decisions in collaboration with fabricatorsMaintain design intent throughout development and realizationCommunication & RealizationCommunicate spatial intent clearly through sketches, references and 3D toolsPresent work with strong visual storytelling and conceptual claritySupport on-site implementation when required to safeguard design qualityEnsure the built outcome reflects the original aesthetic visionYour profileWho You Are4–6 years experience in spatial, architectural or experiential designStrong portfolio demonstrating spatial environments similar to the work we do at Sunst (retail, exhibitions, installations or brand environments)High level skills in SketchUp and Enscape or similar softwareConfident in layout planning and construction logicFamiliarity with using AI tools (e.g. Midjourney, ChatGPT, Runway, etc.) in creative processes — from ideation to visualizationUnderstanding of materials, buildability, and modular spatial systemsExperience designing for lifestyle or sportswear brandsDetail-oriented with a strong sense of materiality and proportionAble to balance aesthetic ambition with feasibilityComfortable working closely with producers and fabricatorsFluent in English (German a plus)What We ValuePrecision in detailStrong spatial intuitionClear communicationOwnership of your workRespect for both idea and executionWhy us?Work on internationally visible brand experiences & cultural projectsShape projects from early concept stageHigh creative ownership & high responsibility from day oneBerlin-based studio with Global reachAbout UsSunst is a Berlin-based design studio operating at the intersection of culture, brand and space.
