Purpose & Overall Relevance For The OrganizationThe purpose of this role is to provide expert services for employees, managers and HR community in the area of Payroll related data and processes, and act as a subject matter expert for these services. Services provided by this role mainly refer to second level (complex) Payroll processes, such as pre- and post PY-run activities, taxation and finance related activities (reconciliation, accruals, etc).Key ResponsibilitiesStatutory Compliance Management: Labour Laws & S&E Act.Statutory Compliance: Submission of Return & Record ManagementManaging of Statutory Audit | InspectionsPayroll Administration: Input, Processing, Checking, VerificationStatutory Compliance w.r.t to payroll: ESIC, PF, PT, LWF, NPS, Income tax etc.Employee Separation/Superannuation: Full & Final | Settlement of Deceased CasesReporting and dashboarding that involves aggregation of data from various sources, maintaining HR data quality, and the analysis of data.Managing the entire full and final settlement processCo-ordination with cross functional team for the timely closure of F&FResolving employees query and grievances within TATMaintain confidentiality of the dataPreparation and verification of Experience Relieving & recovery LettersMaintaining the employee database regarding salary and pay. Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesExcellent analytical skills – ability to analyze large datasets, detect and correct errors, interpret and report results to senior stakeholders.Excellent communication and presentation skills (must be able to simplify complex topics, clearly articulate research, and persuasively engage senior leaders)Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint high efficiency)Stakeholder Management: Ability to build relationships and interact/negotiate with HR partnersstrong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities and attention to detailExperience in SAP Success Factor and ADP payroll system is preferredKey RelationshipsHRBPsTalent AcquisitionRewards teamPayroll team3rd Party VendorsRequisite Education And Experience / Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related professional qualification.More than 6 years progressive work experience in the field of India PayrollExperience in payroll/financial analysis in an IT/Retail organization preferred.Project management experience preferableStrong Communication skillsThe Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
