The PositionJoin our team as a Senior Specialist in Payroll – Canada, where your expertise in end-to-end payroll processing and keen attention to detail will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely compensation for our employees.Bring your payroll expertise to a team that values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Duties & ResponsibilitiesProcess payroll inputs and transactions according to payroll schedules and checklistsManage semi-monthly and biweekly payrolls for Canadian employees, ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory requirementsHandle final pay calculations and off-cycle adjustments as neededPerform banking activities including direct deposit file coordination, check issuance, and resolution of banking discrepanciesMonitor and respond to inquiries via Payroll and MyServices mailboxesCollaborate with HR systems (e.g., Employee Central) to resolve payroll-related issuesConduct audits, reconciliations, and year-end processes including testing and uploadsMaintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrityProvide backup support to other payroll team members as neededAbout Our Future EmployeeAcademic degree in business or equivalentHas at least 3 to 5 years of end-to-end Canadian payroll experienceExperience with payroll software platforms such as SAP HR, ECP (Employee Central Payroll), and MyServices ticketing system is preferredProficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs is requiredCanada Payroll certification – CPP or PCPStrong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain confidentialityAmenable to work night shiftClick here to know what it looks like working at Boehringer Ingelheim Business Services Philippines Inc.Our CompanyWhy Boehringer Ingelheim?With us, you can develop your own path in a company with a culture that knows our differences are our strengths - and break new ground in the drive to make millions of lives better.Here, your development is our priority.
