Seize this exceptional opportunity and join us as a CAD/EDA Engineer, where you will play a key role in designing and developing innovative electronic systems and solutions.As a CAD/EDA Engineer, you will provide technical expertise and support to ensure the smooth operation of our electronic design automation tools and systems, enabling our design teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently and effectively.In your new role you will:Support the R&D team in Cork in their everyday challenges related to the Analog / Mixed Signal IC development flow and related software tools and methodologiesImplement timely project specific solutions like workarounds and bugfixes where needed and communicate larger issues to the 2nd level of support within the company or involve EDA vendorsTake leadership as the link between central CAD, IT and the design community: drive adaption of new design methodologies in design projects as well as driving the implementation of methodology enhancements needed in the field through the methodology ownersProactively address chip design projects to drive effective application of design methodology, EDA Tools and effective usage of the IT compute farmShare your knowledge and collaborate closely with the First Level Support community to elevate the technical competency of the organizationYou have a talent for identifying technical opportunities and possess a keen sense for innovative solutions, driving them to full implementation and success. Your proactive approach and solution-oriented mindset allow you to tackle complex technical challenges with a positive and constructive perspective.
