Senior Strategic Pricing Analyst

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across Commercial, Sales, Finance, and Operations to design and refine pricing structures, develop complex models, and deliver insights that influence key decisions.What we offerCompetitive compensationAttractive benefits (security, flexibility, support and well-being)Engaging employee programsHybrid working from our new central Budapest officesOTP Szép CardWhat you’ll doProvide financial and analytical support through pricing and cost models to evaluate current and future customer pricing structures and overall performance.Define and develop pricing structures—including price lists, volume-based discounts, and other pricing options—for customer books of business with a focus on profitability.Partner with cross-functional groups (Commercial, Business Operations, Product, Account Management, Sales, Finance, and Operations) to ensure pricing strategies align with business initiatives and customer needs.Coordinate and present analyses when evaluating new or updated customer pricing structures; communicate results clearly to business leaders both verbally and in written/presentation form; secure approvals from commercial leaders, general managers, and other stakeholders as required.Develop and maintain complex pricing models (primarily in Excel) leveraging large datasets.Perform ad-hoc analysis at the project level to identify trends, issues, and opportunities.Maintain a detailed database of client pricing agreements.Lead, execute and present strategic pricing projects of varying scope and complexity—including setting timelines, deliverables, and drafting communications —with limited supervision, applying sound judgment to clarify assumptions and objectives.What we’re looking forBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or related field; MBA or M.S. preferred.3+ years of experience in pricing, finance, or a related analytical role.Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint proficiency.Strong financial modelling and data interpretation capabilities.Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex concepts clearly.Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable in a matrixed, global environment.At Clario, our purpose is to transform lives by unlocking better evidence.
