Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager - UK

We use research and innovation to empower people with information, products and services that enable them to take responsibility for their health and quality of life.Unicity Europe is planning to strengthen its operations in the UK with the recruitment of a Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager.This position will handle Operations processes under the guidance of the VP Finance & Operations- EMEAI.ResponsibilitiesForecast, plan and monitor shipments from Unicity Regional hubs.Oversee and facilitate the customs clearance process.Manage inventory quantities to remain within stock policy.Monitor inventory health (slow and obsolete inventory as well as expiry tracking).Ensure business continuity by managing the supply disruptions and demand surges and keep the planning process integrated with business processes.Maintain master data in ERP system and demand planning tool.Optimize freight.Manage the relationship with 3rd parties Logistics providers and parcel service companies.Manage logistics costs.Ensure a solid service level to the Customers.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business or a relevant field.7 to 10 years of experience in Supply chain, logistics, planning.Expertise in Microsoft or Google office applications.Good knowledge of Microsoft Navision or any similar ERP.Positive can-do attitude.Independent and resourceful, able to multi-task and excel in a collaborative global environment.Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a passion for driving results.Excellent Communication, Interpersonal and presentation skills.The position will be based in the UK on a work from home basis with some visits to third party logistics providers and infrequent travels to other Unicity locations in Europe or other regions.
