Provide high level administrative support to the Patient Flow and Safety Unit, using expertise, problem solving and working with a high degree of autonomy to consistently meet deadlines. Coordination and maintenance of the nursing rosters and casual and agency nurse bookings in the iWFM system.RoleIn this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values . Your contribution will include:Provide high level, consistent and timely administration support to the QCH Operations Centre in a complex fast paced work environment.Maintain processes, procedures, work instructions and forms related to staffing teamCoordinate onboarding and deliver training to staff new to the Operations Centre Nurse Manager staffingCoordinate and monitor the scheduling of nursing rosters and allocations ensuring cost effective practices and adherence to award conditions whilst taking into consideration organisational needs.Maintain registers and operating systems to ensure accurate data capture and reporting related to nursing staffing.Provide executive support for high level meetings to support OperationsFollow defined service agreements and use corporate systems to process payments for external serviceUtilise corporate systems and relationships with payroll services to ensure accurate and on time processing of payments for a large pool of casual and permanent nurses.Communicate effectively and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including front line nursing staff, nursing agencies, nursing leaders, administration leaders, finance and procurement services and hospital executive.Provide secretarial and administration support to assist with recruitment of staff to the nursingActively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resources management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work, health and safety, and ethical behaviour.Develop a positive culture within PFSU which encourages and recognises high performance, builds leadership capabilities and supports staff to maximise their health and wellbeing.Commitment and contribution to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health equity reform, to Close the Gap by 2033, as underpinned by the CHQ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Equity Strategy 2022 – 2025.
