Senior System Engineer for Confluence

Responsibilities:As a Senior Engineer System Engineering (Confluence), you will manage the complete platform and ensure it runs stable and high performance. You will be the technical expert in troubleshooting and system configuration in an enterprise solution landscape.In your new role you will:Manage the Confluence platform including system administration, technical consultation, and operational activitiesBe responsible for application lifecycle management including application integration via API and migration activitiesInvestigate application errors, troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutionsPerform tool study and provide technical recommendation on compatibility and the necessary technical adaptationOptimize system through system health checks, automation and monitoringProvide technical documentation (e.g. technical specification, design guidelines, developer guidelines)You collaborate effectively across various boundaries and establish successful partnerships. Your conscientious approach drives you to continuously improve processes, making them more efficient and effective. With a sharp sense for improvements, you proactively identify and implement potential enhancements. Your efforts are concentrated on finding solutions that add value, and you are dedicated to recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities to boost efficiency.Your Profile:You are best equipped for this task if you have:An university degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a similar fieldAt least 5 years hands-on experience with system/platform administration (preferably in OpenShift or Kubernetes) in an enterprise environmentExperience with Wiki and Knowledge Management applications such as Atlassian Confluence, Atlassian Jira, Microsoft SharePoint3+ years Proficiency in Linux system administration, shell scripting and Java ScriptExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or HelmSolid understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teamsFluency in English, with basic German language skills considered a plus
