Senior Tanks Design Engineer

Company Description We suggest you enter details here. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position for a Senior Tanks Design Engineer. The Senior Tanks Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of tanks and related systems. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing technical specifications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing detailed design drawings, utilizing CAD tools, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role also involves providing technical guidance to junior engineers and supporting manufacturing and quality assurance processes. Key Responsibilities:✅ Perform design calculations & analysis of storage tanks as per API 650 / API 620.✅ Prepare Material Specification Sheets (MSS) for pressure and non-pressure parts.✅ Review and check drawings, BOM, and design deliverables.✅ Ensure compliance with API, ASME, and project standards.✅ Lead design team and coordinate with clients, consultants & third-party inspectors.Requirements:🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).🧠 Proven experience in tank design, analysis, and material selection.💻 Proficiency in engineering software (FEA, PV Elite, STAAD Pro, ANSYS, etc.).📅 Strong technical and communication skills.
