In addition, this person will be a key driver to improve the quality of the VAT general ledger account reconciliations. The expertise of LATAM VAT regulations and the impact to the accounts payable and receivable processes will provide important intelligence to safeguard financial statements and enable scalable new business launches. Basic QualificationsAccounting Degree or related field with 5+ or more years of experience.3-5+ years of experience with indirect taxes (VAT/WHT)Experience in month end closing of books of accounts / working on various sub-ledgers / accounting knowledge / balance sheet reconciliation & reporting activities.Advanced Excel skills and strong understanding of financial reporting, especially Excel (PivotTables, Vlookups, macros, formulas, etc.) Preferred Qualifications Experience using Oracle Financial ApplicationsExperience working on operational excellence and process improvement & simplificationFlexible, proactive, and self-motivatedStrong written and oral communication skillsKnowledge of Six Sigma defect reduction techniques
