Senior Tax Consultant

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Tax Consultant located in Harare. The Senior Tax Consultant will be responsible for providing expert advice on tax planning, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing and reviewing tax returns, representing clients during tax audits, and keeping up-to-date with applicable tax laws. The role involves close collaboration with clients to tailor strategies that align with their financial goals while adhering to legal requirements. Qualifications Strong expertise in Tax Planning, Tax Compliance, and Tax PreparationExperience in handling Tax Audits and knowledge of reviewing audit findingsComprehensive understanding of Tax Law, including updates to regulations and policiesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsAttention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work under deadlinesProficiency in using financial software and toolsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; additional certifications such as ZICTA , CTA or ACCA are a plusRelevant industry experience in tax consultancy or accounting is highly advantageous5 years experince Strong supervisory skills
