Contract Opportunity: Technical Functional Analyst - API and Open BankingWe are hiring for contract roles in a leading financial institution's Dublin office (2 days per week in the office in city centre). These are 6-month plus contracts supporting a strategic transformation programme in Transaction Banking.Are you a skilled Technical Functional Analyst with strong experience in API technologies, Open Banking frameworks environments? Join a growing Cash Management Solutions team focused on delivering secure, scalable and compliant services across EMEA.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse and document business and regulatory requirements for API and Open Banking servicesTranslate functional needs into technical specifications and user storiesDesign and support RESTful API integration for payments, collections, liquidity and reportingEnsure APIs meet security, authentication and consent management standardsSupport system testing and automation using tools such as Postman, SoapUI or JMeterCollaborate with internal teams and external partners including ERP providers and fintechsMaintain API documentation, data flow diagrams and integration guidesEnsure compliance with internal governance and regulatory standardsSkills and Experience RequiredExperience in banking, ideally within Corporate or Transaction BankingStrong understanding of REST, JSON, OAuth2 and OpenAPI specificationsFamiliarity with Open Banking standards such as PSD2 and ISO 20022Exposure to API gateways, developer portals and cloud-based integration platformsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsDetail-oriented, proactive and confident in taking ownershipWhy ApplyBe part of a high-impact programme transforming Cash Management servicesWork in a collaborative, fast-paced international environmentCompetitive daily rate and long-term project potentialWe are committed to inclusive recruitment.
