Senior Technical Project Manager – 12-Month Contract (Healthcare Projects)Location: Limerick (Hybrid / on-site as required) Sector: Public / Healthcare Projects Contract: 12 months initiallyWe’re seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of major healthcare and public-sector construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with architectural or technical project management experience who excels in stakeholder engagement and has a proven record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects. The successful candidate will act as a key interface between design teams, stakeholders, and public bodies — ensuring that technical, operational, and contractual objectives are achieved efficiently and collaboratively.ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate the planning and execution of large-scale healthcare or public-sector projects.Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinical teams, design consultants, contractors, and government representatives.Oversee design development, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulations, and client objectives.Monitor progress, budgets, and timelines, providing clear reporting and risk management updates.Support procurement processes and ensure adherence to public contract requirements.Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and coordination meetings.Drive quality, safety, and compliance across all project phases.Manage project documentation and approvals in line with governance and contractual standards.RequirementsDegree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.Proven experience managing construction or capital projects, ideally in public sector or healthcare environments.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex organisational structures.Excellent understanding of project governance, public procurement, and technical design processes.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver on tight timelines.Healthcare project experience is advantageous but not essential.
