We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Sales / Specification Engineer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our innovative product offerings and the needs of our clients, ensuring optimal solutions for both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen, enabling them to represent our products effectively to architects, engineers, and construction professionals.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and contractors to identify project specifications and requirements.Provide technical support throughout the sales process, offering insights into product specifications, performance, and applications.Conduct presentations and demonstrations of products to clients and stakeholders, showcasing technical capabilities and advantages.Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to create and refine product documentation, including specifications, data sheets, and installation guides.Analyze client needs and translate them into tailored solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals and budgets.Prepare and deliver winning proposals, including detailed specifications that meet regulatory and industry standards.Attend industry trade shows and conferences to promote products and engage with industry professionals, enhancing brand visibility.Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and competitive products to provide informed recommendations to clients.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales or specifications engineering within the construction industry.Strong understanding of building materials, construction methodologies, and engineering principles.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and fostering client relationships.Proficient in using CAD software and other technical tools relevant to the construction industry.Ability to work independently and in a team environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations, as well as sustainability practices and standards.
