Job Description

Job Purpose:To provide backend technical support for the Core Banking System (CBS), ensuring its seamless operation, optimal performance, and timely resolution of technical issues. The role involves close coordination with internal teams and external vendors to maintain the stability, reliability, and integrity of CBS and all its integrated services.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.3–5 years of technical support experience, preferably in banking or financial services.Certifications in CBS platforms or IT service management are preferred.Hands-on experience with Core Banking Systems along with strong understanding of backend operations, SQL databases, batch processing, and system integrations.Familiarity with ITIL practices and incident/change management tools.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and support Core Banking System (CBS) operations to ensure high availability, stability, and performance.Troubleshoot and resolve CBS-related issues, coordinating with vendors and internal IT teams for timely resolution and upgrades.Manage user roles, access controls, and system security in line with IT and audit policies.Perform daily health checks, log reviews, and ensure smooth execution of EOD/EOM/EOY processes.Maintain system documentation, incident logs, and SOPs for operational continuity and audit compliance.Support CBS enhancements, testing, and deployment of new modules or features.Ensure data integrity, backup validation, and disaster recovery preparedness.
