We pride ourselves on acting like owners, valuing relationships, and exemplifying excellence while making a difference in the communities we serve.Position Summary / What You’ll DoAs a Senior Traffic Engineer, you will lead traffic engineering design and analysis, manage transportation projects, and serve as a technical resource to clients and colleagues. You’ll play a key role in advancing RETTEW’s transportation practice and ensuring high-quality project delivery.Responsibilities / Day-to-Day Lead traffic studies, signal design, corridor planning, and safety analyses Manage projects from planning through delivery, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction Coordinate with municipalities, DOTs, MPOs, and other stakeholders Develop proposals, scopes, and budgets for traffic/transportation projects Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff Ensure compliance with PennDOT, MUTCD, AASHTO, and related standardsQualificationsRequired: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE) license in PA (or ability to obtain quickly) 8+ years of progressive experience in traffic engineering/transportation design Proven ability to manage transportation projects and client relationships Proficiency in traffic analysis/design software (Synchro, HCS, VISSIM, etc.)Preferred: PTOE certification Familiarity with PennDOT ECMS and processes Experience mentoring and developing engineering staff Strong business development skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive Salary Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, wellness program) Paid time off, flexible scheduling, and hybrid work options A culture rooted in ownership, relationships, and excellence, with resources for professional growthRETTEW is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
