And with automated workflows and granular permissions, the right people will have access to the right information.Job DescriptionRole PurposeThe Senior Web Analytics Lead is both a hands-on analytics expert and a coach to colleagues across the organization. This role will own the measurement, reporting, and optimization framework for the Quickbase and Fastfield websites. Acting as a player-coach, this individual will not only configure tools and analyze data but also guide stakeholders, evangelize best practices, and help build a data-driven culture that improves marketing performance, user experience, and revenue outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPlayer (Hands-On Analytics Execution) Implement, configure, and maintain analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, etc.). Conduct deep-dive analyses into website performance, traffic sources, and user journeys. Build, maintain, and QA tagging frameworks to ensure accurate tracking of events, conversions, and attribution. Create dashboards and reports that translate complex data into actionable insights for marketing, product, and sales. Coach (Leadership & Mentorship) Act as the go-to expert for analytics across the Marketing organization, mentoring colleagues and enabling self-serve reporting. Partner with CRO, UX, and Product Marketing teams to embed analytics into optimization and campaign workflows. Provide training and guidance to team members and stakeholders on analytics tools and methodologies. Influence decision-making by framing data insights within the context of broader business goals. Strategic & Cross-Functional ImpactOwn the analytics strategy and ensure KPIs are aligned with pipeline and revenue objectives. Collaborate with web developers to ensure seamless implementation of analytics across platforms. Support A/B and multivariate testing by setting up measurement frameworks and analyzing outcomes. Identify emerging trends in analytics and proactively recommend new tools, methods, or models to enhance measurement capabilities. Work with data privacy and compliance teams to ensure analytics practices respect user privacy regulations. Key Skills & CompetenciesDeep expertise in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and related web analytics tools. Strong knowledge of event tracking, attribution modeling, funnel analysis, and data governance. Hands-on technical ability with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support tagging/debugging. Familiarity with one or more of the following or similar tools is highly desirable: Google Tag Assistant, GA4 DebugView, GTM Preview Mode, Adswerve “Data Layer Inspector”, or Ghostery. Experience with data visualization and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, BigQuery, etc.). Ability to balance execution with leadership, delivering analysis while coaching others. Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex data and influence senior stakeholders. Experience & Qualifications5+ years of experience in web analytics, digital marketing analytics, or digital optimization. Proven track record of building and managing analytics frameworks in a B2B SaaS or multi-site environment. Experience acting as a mentor or lead, ideally with exposure to player-coach responsibilities. Familiarity with CRO, UX principles, and digital experimentation best practices. Success MetricsAccuracy, reliability, and trustworthiness of analytics across Quickbase and Fastfield websites. Increased adoption of analytics-driven decision-making across Marketing and Product teams. Demonstrated impact of analytics insights on marketing ROI, conversion rates, and pipeline growth. Evidence of team enablement; colleagues becoming more self-sufficient in analytics.
