Senior Wet Utilities Design Engineer

We are hiring - Senior Hydraulic Design EngineerAbout Us:The company specializes in providing engineering consultancy services in the field of infrastructure & wet utilities.The company offers a wide range of expertise and services in hydraulic design, electrical, mechanical, roads, and other related engineering disciplines.Headquartered in Zahraa El Maadi, Cairo, delivers innovative, sustainable & high-quality infrastructure solutions.Key Responsibilities:Develop detailed hydraulic designs for wet utilities systems, including potable water, wastewater, irrigation, and storm drainage networks.Use hydraulic modeling software (Civil 3D / Water GEMS, Sewer GEMS) to perform calculations and simulations to optimize system performance and ensure efficiency.Design key infrastructure components such as pipelines and storage tanks, ensuring they meet hydraulic and operational requirements.Conduct pressure and flow analysis, ensure appropriate sizing of pipes and pumps, and assess system performance under varying conditions.Collaborate with project managers and other design teams to integrate hydraulic designs into the overall project plans.Ensure hydraulic designs are coordinated with other utilities, structures, and systems to avoid conflicts and ensure effective integration.Review project specifications, client requirements, and site conditions to define design parameters and deliverables.Ensure that designs comply with relevant national and international codes, standards, and environmental regulations.Prepare and submit technical documentation for approval, including design reports, calculations, and system specifications.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all design processes, methodologies, and changes.Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers, design teams, and other departments.Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress, challenges, and solutions.Liaise with clients and stakeholders to address technical queries, concerns, and requests related to hydraulic design.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.6–8 years of proven experience in Wet Utilities Design, specifically in KSA infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (Saudi Standards, GCC Standards, etc.).Proficiency in Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling tools (Water GEMS, Sewer GEMS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Infra Works).Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project teams.Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of sustainability practices in utility design is a plus.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Social and Medical InsuranceProfessional development and career growth opportunities.A collaborative, dynamic, and innovative work environment.Exposure to diverse and high-profile infrastructure projects.Location: Zahraa El-Maadi, Egypt Employment Type: Full-timeDays off: Friday & Saturday
