Job Description

Are you driven by the challenge of transforming cutting-edge product designs into robust and efficient manufacturing processes?We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing & Supply Chain team in Zurich. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the introduction of new products, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring high standards in quality and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders across engineering, quality, and production to drive improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

We are looking for a structured, proactive team player with a solid technical background and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead or support internal projects to improve manufacturing operationsDrive change management activities (CR/CO) and process optimizationsSupport the implementation of new products on existing production linesDefine new process flows and support design transfer to production or suppliersLead or support CAPAs, NCMRs, and process deviationsDefine, develop, and document manufacturing processes, equipment, and toolsCreate or contribute to User Requirement Specifications (URS) for new assetsPrepare and maintain manufacturing documentation and ERP/MRP dataSupport validation activities including FAT/SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, and CSVEnsure document compliance within the QMS systemInterface with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and other company sitesIdentify and drive continuous improvement opportunitiesMaintain a structured, quality-focused approach to scheduling and executionPromote a collaborative and GMP-compliant work environmentKey RequirementsStrong expertise and interest in electronics and mechanical manufacturing operationsExperience with manufacturing of medical implants is highly desirableSkilled in structured problem-solving and process improvement tools (e.

g. Six Sigma, 5-Whys, Fishbone)Cross-functional mindset with the ability to interact across departments and technical domainsStrong verbal and written communication skills in both English and GermanAbility to clearly document and present complex technical contentSelf-driven, flexible, and resilient, with a hands-on and analytical working styleAbility to manage priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced settingKnowledge of automation technology is a plusRequired Education / ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical fieldMinimum of 3 years’ experience as a Manufacturing or Process EngineerExperience in a regulated environment (e. g.

, Medical Devices, Pharma, Food) is an assetFamiliarity with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and GMP conceptsExperience with ERP, QMS systems, and CAD tools (e. g. , SolidWorks) is a plusProven application of Lean and Six Sigma methodologiesProficient with office and technical softwareContribute to the development and production of high-quality medical technology.
