Service Advisor - Automotive

Job SummaryThe Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. This role is responsible for understanding customer vehicle concerns, providing repair recommendations, preparing cost estimates, coordinating service schedules, and ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction throughout the service process.Key Responsibilities:Greet customers professionally and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns and service needs.Accurately document customer complaints and vehicle symptoms and relay them clearly to technicians.Provide clear, accurate cost and time estimates for recommended repairs and maintenance.Communicate service status updates to customers throughout the repair process.Coordinate with technicians, parts department, and workshop team to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.Promote additional service packages and preventative maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines.Ensure all work orders are completed accurately, and customer approvals are obtained before proceeding.Handle customer complaints or issues with empathy and escalate unresolved matters to the Service Manager.Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly service reception area.Uphold company standards for quality, safety, and customer care.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business administration or related field Proven experience in a customer service or automotive service role preferred.Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Excellent in English.
