Grow with usAbout this opportunity:We are seeking an experienced Access Connectivity Planner (Expert) to lead transmission planning and optimization activities. The role involves defining planning strategies, ensuring capacity and resilience across transport networks, and driving continuous service improvement to meet customer objectives.What you will do:Define and implement transmission planning strategies in alignment with customer goals.Establish and maintain transmission standards and best practices.Ensure capacity planning and dimensioning for all transport nodes follow agreed guidelines.Develop and maintain network resilience and redundancy plans for the transport domain.Serve as the technical center of excellence for transport-related matters.Prepare and maintain end-to-end network diagrams and documentation.Contribute to CAPEX planning and optimization.Enforce network design guidelines and ensure compliance in all projects.Continuously refine processes and procedures related to network design, planning, and lifecycle management.Coordinate with internal and cross-functional teams for KPI monitoring and improvement initiatives.Track planning progress with leased-line suppliers and conduct regular stakeholder alignment meetings.Monitor and report overall project progress and connectivity milestones.Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of all deliverables.Participate in stakeholder meetings to define and agree on SLA/WLA targets.Analyze major network incidents and implement preventive actions.Authority:Engage directly with Ericsson Managed Services stakeholders (ODS/OGS/Customer).Collaborate with customer design engineers on planning requirements.Escalate critical project issues that may impact functionality or profitability.Proactively identify and drive network improvement initiatives.Required CompetenciesProfessional / TechnicalProven expertise in Access Connectivity Planning.Hands-on experience with Huawei MW (RTN 510, RTN 910A/950/950A/380), SM/SIAE (ALC+2E, AGS20), and NEC (Ipaso 200/400, VR4).Strong understanding of 2G/4G/5G transport planning.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.Familiarity with Managed Services operations and telecom business practices.Experience with enterprise client network planning.Behavioral / HumanStrong teamwork and leadership skills; capable of leading small projects.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing mindset.Innovative thinker with a problem-solving approach.Adept at applying technical expertise to drive business outcomes.EducationalBachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.Experience RequirementMinimum 10 years of experience in Access Connectivity Planning and Leadership (Planning/Optimization).Why join Ericsson?At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
