Our particular strengths include solid experience in executing challenging projects as well as professional interaction with customers in various Stock Preparation processes.We are now looking for a Service Specialist to join our Field Service team working with Stock Preparation equipment.As a Service Specialist, you will guide and carry out practical maintenance and servicing tasks at our customer sites. You will work closely with our customers in Scandinavia and Europe as well as globally. You will independently prepare and execute maintenance tasks and report completed assignments promptly and in the required manner.What do we expect from you?To succeed in this Service Specialist role, we expect you to have experience working with Stock Preparation equipment, especially disc filters and hydrocyclones. In addition, we value genuine interest and motivation to deliver assignments that create added value for our customers and to successfully solve challenges related to their equipment and processes. Occupational safety and proactive safety development are an inherent part of your work and working style.Alongside independent practical duties, you enjoy teamwork and project management. You are ready to take responsibility and make decisions within your remit.We expect a qualified candidate to have a flexible, proactive, and customer-oriented approach to work. Travelling to customer sites is an essential part of the job, so you must be prepared to travel also abroad. Occasional urgent assignments may also require flexibility to work outside regular hours.Your educational background is in a technical field. You have the skills to communicate fluently in English, Finnish and/or Swedish, both spoken and written. Other language skills are considered an advantage. You possess sufficient IT skills, including mobile tools, and you use Microsoft Office and cloud-based applications efficiently.The Stock Preparation Field Service team is based in Valmet’s offices in Tampere, Finland and Stockholm, Sweden, and we aim primarily to fill this position at one of these locations.What do we offerWe offer you diverse and demanding tasks in an international environment, as well as the opportunity for continuous professional growth.
