First and foremost: inspiration, objectives, good practices, innovative activities and values.In 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 we received the Great Place to Work certificate, and found ourselves among the 15 Best Workplaces in Poland in the category: large companies.At the Engineering Competence Center, we carry out services and projects for the automotive, rail and oil & gas sectors, among others.Specialized teams of engineers work within project groups and competence groups, whose activities we manage.We also implement training and certification programs as part of improving the engineering competence of our consultants.How about joining ASTEK’s community of Service Technicians?Work model:On-site in Dublin, IrelandYour day-to-day responsibilities include:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including major repairs and overhauls, on high-voltage battery systems (including traction batteries >650 V)Replace faulty high- and low-voltage components, such as fuses, contactors, and sensorsCarry out battery upgrades and modifications, including component replacements and enhancementsConduct commissioning activities, including testing and measuring battery parametersConnect to battery systems using laptops and CANalyzer tools to adjust settings, update software, and perform diagnosticsSupport troubleshooting and integration of batteries with trams, identifying faults and inconsistenciesPrepare detailed reports on repair, diagnostic, and upgrade activitiesProvide technical support to clients, ensuring reliability during warranty and service periodsYou’re ideal for this role if you have:Valid electrician license (or equivalent unrestricted license) with authorization to work on high-voltage systemsCertification for safe work at heights or equivalentEnglish proficiency at B2 levelHands-on experience in field service, preferably with high-voltage systemsExperience with diagnostic tools and software (e.g., CANalyzer)Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with a client-focused attitudeAdded value for you:Long-term cooperationPossibility to choose preferred type of cooperation (regular job contract with all benefits or flexible B2B contract)Technical trainings, certificates and upskillingCompetence Center mentoring- you will be a member of CC community from the first day of your work.
