RWE Renewables Denmark A/STo start as soon as possible, full time, permanentRWE is building Denmark’s largest offshore wind farm. Thor offshore wind farm will be built 22 kilometres off the coast of Thorsminde on the west coast of Jutland with a capacity of more than 1 GW. 72 units of Siemens Gamesa’s flagship SG 14-236 DD offshore wind turbines are planned to be installed. Once fully operational in 2027, Thor will produce green electricity to more than 1 million Danish households.About The RoleYour main responsibilities will be maintenance and troubleshooting on HV systems for the substations located on – and offshore, the offshore wind turbines and export cables. You will have the daily responsibility for the safety within your area and will support an incident free culture.During the construction phase of the wind farm, you will support the commissioning team with specific tasks linked to electrical safety, familiarization with the electrical equipment, and will be supporting the commissioning team with day-to-day tasks.When construction is finalized, you will be a part of the production and maintenance team with close collaboration with the HV manager. Your base will be Thorsminde and rotation is planned for 1 week on/off with accommodation facilities provided if required.Collect valuable lessons learned during the construction phaseBecome Authorized as “” according to DS/EN 50110-1:2023Plan and perform switching operations on HV equipmentPotential control room tasks, Alarm handling of substations, high voltage equipment, HV cables etc.Service and Troubleshooting on HV assets On/OffshoreDocumentation of all work with the help of electronic reporting (e.g. SAP)Preparation of error reports and work instructionsReview and, if necessary, processing of operationally relevant documentation such as. maintenance manuals and installation circuit diagramsCompliance with and testing of occupational health and safety requirementsPreparation of RAMS (risk assessments and method statements) for repairs, as well as control of RAMS by external service providersJob Requirements And ExperienceCompleted training as an electrician or automation technician or equivalent educations is mandatory5-10 years of professional experiences as a technician in operating, servicing and maintaining High Voltage equipment / assetExperiences in the field of protection systems, SCADA and communication, automation technology and network operationsExperiences in working offshoreGood IT skills (e.g. MS Office, etc.)Good English language skillExperiences in planning HV servicesBe able to work offshore including GWO and HUET certificatesStrong awareness of occupational safetyEngaged team player with positive and solution oriented mindsetYour BenefitsAttractive remuneration, including a company performance-based bonus.Plenty of career opportunities within RWE Denmark or worldwideRoom to follow training courses in or outside your working areaFritvalgskonto and contribution towards person planFrom here, you benefit from many further advantages – Curious?
