Role OverviewAs a ServiceNow Developer at Rackspace Technology in Saudi Arabia, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications and workflows within the ServiceNow platform. This position is crucial for optimizing business processes, improving efficiency, and enhancing the overall user experience within organizations.This role will be permanently on-site with a customer in Riyadh (KSA).Discover your inner Racker!ResponsibilitiesDevelop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, and components to meet specific business requirements aligned with Rackspace's cloud solutionsDesign and implement workflows, automation, and business processes using the ServiceNow Workflow Editor, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub, ensuring seamless integration with customer's cloud infrastructureIntegrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency, especially in the context of diverse cloud environmentsWrite and maintain server-side and client-side scripts (JavaScript) to enhance and customize ServiceNow functionality in alignment with the technological ecosystemCreate user-friendly and intuitive user interfaces (UI) within the ServiceNow platform, tailored to the unique needs of Rackspace's clients for a positive end-user experienceDevelop and maintain custom reports and dashboards that provide insights and monitor key performance indicators relevant to Rackspace's cloud servicesIdentify and resolve issues, bugs, and performance problems within the ServiceNow platform, contributing to the reliability and efficiency cloud solutionsCreate and maintain documentation for ServiceNow configurations, processes, and workflows, adhering to Rackspace's documentation standardsStay updated with ServiceNow releases and apply platform upgrades and enhancementsAdhere to ServiceNow best practices, governance, and security standardsProvide training and support to end-users and administrators, ensuring effective use of the ServiceNow platformRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications are often preferredConfiguration Management Experience (CMDB data model and relationships)ServiceNow integration experience (REST APIs, SOAP, Remote tables, Integration Hub)Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, its architecture, and modulesProficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologiesExperience with ITSM, ITIL, and knowledge of IT service management processesAbility to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environmentStrong problem-solving and communication skillsExperience with service mapping, business rules, and service catalogue development is a plusAbout Rackspace TechnologyWe are the multicloud solutions experts.
