Shipping Executive (Import & Export)

Committed to sustainability and innovation, Mecomb is dedicated to meeting the dynamic challenges of the competitive industry.Role Description· Perform import and export shipping administration including transshipment· Coordinate with insurance company on import/ export shipment’s cargo surveys and claim settlements· Perform freight forwarding duties· Coordinate and negotiate with banks on administrative compliance· Prepare and provide other shipping administration and coordination support to internal departments· Coordinate with Chambers of Commerce on the application of certificate of origin and Form-D· Certify all compliance of Singapore Customs (Crimson logic) on the deduction of taxes and forwarders’ nominated declarationQualifications· Diploma in Shipping/Logistic or equivalent· Min 2 to 3 years shipping and freight forwarding working experience· Has experience in utilisation of SAP program· Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office)
