The team is growing in skill and numbers and helping transform how simulation is used in our business.General Responsibilities:Collaborates on feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designsKey participant in research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or applicationCollaborates with engineers and developers to create product designs with marketing teams to develop sales plans for future products.Specific ResponsibilitiesIndependently perform electrical analyses based on the received request for simulation.Uses judgment within defined policies and practices.Perform FEA of Magnetic, Electromagnetic, Electric-Thermal models, providing resolutions to a diverse range of complex problems.Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in electrical engineering and analysis, plus working knowledge of other related fields.Represents the organization on projects and may perform in project leadership role and/or may supervise the activities of less experienced personnelExplain results calculated by the FEA software.Validate, where applicable’ the FEA models by initiating physical experiments.Specific Experience / Qualifications:University degree should be in Electrical Engineering or Physics.Post qualification work experience should be minimum: 4-6 years (Bachelors), or 2-4 years (Master), or 0-2 years (Doctorate).Experience of electrically based Multiphysics analysis (examples: electric-magnetic-mechanical, thermal-electrical).Will an in-depth understanding of the physical events behind the mathematical formulas.High understanding of electric and magnetic materialsExperience of high voltage electrical simulations is desirable.Experience in CAD software (SolidWorks is an advantage).Knowledge of FEM software (ANSYS Maxwell, HFSS, Simplorer is an advantage).English skills (B2 level).Benefits to join Snesata:IDP (Individual Development Plan): build your career path and grow professionally in every department of the companyLearning and Development programs, customized trainings, and certificationExperience in working with various global teams and multicultural environmentAdditional package includes – health and dental care insurance, food vouchers, sport card at a discountFree parking & communicative office location next to metro station, bus and tram stops Refer a friend programFun activities – cultural events, hiking etc.SmarterTogetherCollaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world’s most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thingEmployees work across functions, countries and cultures gaining new perspectives through mutual respect and open communicationAs OneSensata, we are working together to make things work together Click here to view Sensata Recruitment Privacy StatementClick here to view our Sensata Recruitment Privacy Statement for ChinaNOTE: If you are a current Sensata employee (or one of our Affiliates), please back out of this application and log into Workday via the Company Intranet to apply directly.
