Develop your skills in Construction ManagementParticipate in delivering various Building construction projectsJoin a successful local company with a great cultureDevelop your experience in Construction Management on various Building projects in the NT!Your new companyOur client, a successful local company specialising in construction of Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Government facilities, is recruiting a talented Site Engineer / Contracts Administrator to join their team and work on the delivery of multiple Building projects in the Northern Territory. Your new roleAs a Site Engineer / Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring the delivery of the project to ensure it meets the required standards, is delivered on time and to budget while satisfying the needs of the client and company. This is a full-time site-based role, involving both local and remote Building construction projects. Your key responsibilities will be:Assist the Project Manager in developing project planning and cost management.Develop, monitor, and report on project schedules and activities.Implement quality control techniques and the Project Quality Management plan.Coordinate procurement of subcontractors, suppliers, and plant hires.Perform site inspections and produce progress reports.Manage and maintain project documentation including QA and Handover documents.Implement HSEQ requirements and controls on site.Liaise with the client on project quality and progress.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this role you will have:Significant experience as a Site Engineer or Contracts Administrator on construction projects in Australia.Relevant qualifications in Construction / Project Management or Engineering.Ability to read and interpret contract documents and project drawings.Previous experience with implementation of management systems on a project, and with subcontract management.Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management software including for programming.Strong analytical, organisational, problem-solving and communication skills.Hold a current White Card.What you'll get in returnYou will join a highly skilled and collaborative team in a successful local construction company with a great culture and participate in the delivery of various Building projects in the Northern Territory.
