Site Engineer – Co. Cork5+ Years’ Experience | OperationsOur client, a main contractor delivering multi-sector projects, is seeking a talented Site Engineer to join their high-performing project team in Cork. You’ll work across a variety of complex, high-quality construction projects, including commercial, fit-outs, residential, and other large-scale developments.Purpose of Role Set out and oversee construction works on site, ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings, specifications, and building regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Project Manager/Senior Engineer with day-to-day technical and engineering requirements, including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and design team workshopsImplement quality control measures in line with project standardsSupport the programme by ensuring all documents and information are available for the project team and subcontractorsEnsure works are completed on time, on budget, and to a high standardIdentify information gaps, develop solutions, and coordinate with the site and design teamMaintain excellent relationships with the project team, subcontractors, and supply chainCandidate RequirementsThird-level qualification in Engineering or a related disciplineStrong knowledge of construction techniques, including set out, survey & level, and temporary works coordinationExcellent numeracy, record-keeping, and organisational skillsUnderstanding of project planning and programmingAbility to make informed decisions and escalate when necessaryComputer literate, proficient in MS Office, and familiar with project scheduling softwareRemuneration & BenefitsCompetitive salaryPension & life assuranceHealth insuranceCar allowance / company vehicleTraining and development opportunitiesFor more information, please contact: rose@dunwood.ie
