Job Description

Role Purpose To supervise and coordinate all HVAC installation works on-site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, project specifications, UAE regulations, and safety standards. The Site Engineer (HVAC) ensures quality, timely delivery, and smooth coordination with other disciplines throughout the project lifecycle. Key Accountabilities Supervise and monitor HVAC installation works including air handling units (AHUs), ducting, chillers, VAVs, FCUs, exhaust systems, and related components. Review and interpret design drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure correct execution on-site. Coordinate with plumbing, electrical, civil, and architectural teams to resolve clashes and integration issues. Plan daily site activities, allocate manpower, and manage materials and equipment to ensure timely completion. Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to project standards and specifications. Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations (e.g., DM, DEWA, ADDC) and company HSE policies. Support the testing, commissioning, and handover of HVAC systems. Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, highlighting achievements, delays, and proposed corrective actions. Identify and report technical issues, design discrepancies, or material shortages and implement corrective measures. Maintain proper documentation of as-built drawings, inspection reports, and installation records. Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to timelines. Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 3+ years of experience in HVAC site engineering, preferably in MEP projects in UAE or GCC. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting layouts, air distribution, and refrigeration systems. Familiarity with UAE codes, authority regulations, and international HVAC standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiarity with Revit MEP is an advantage. Experience in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems. Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
