We have a number of exciting projects due to start in the coming months and we are seeking a Setting Out Engineer to join our team.PracticalitiesSalary: DOELocation: Site Based, Dublin 6Start ASAP.Duties / Responsibilities:Checking drawings, specifications & plansSetting out reinforced concrete & steel frame buildings, piling, drainage, groundworks etc.Supervising subcontractors & monitoring Health and SafetyReporting to Site Manager or Senior Engineer on Site and liaising with subcontractors and other engineers and general workforce involved in the projectDealing with technical queries where relevantQuality Checks and ControlSite record KeepingGeneral Administration DutiesPerform other duties and projects as assignedKnowledge/Skills/Qualifications:Third level degree qualified in Engineering / Related DisciplineMinimum of 5 years setting out experienceExperience using Robotic Total Stations and LevelHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong Digital Construction and IT Skills with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmesExcellent communication, organisation and time management skillsAnalytical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skillsShould have the ability to work well in a team-based environmentShould be honest, flexible, reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking
