Site Engineer

Vision Built, part of the Sisk Group, is a leading provider of offsite modular building solutions. We design and manufacture high-quality building modules in our facility in Galway and deliver projects across Ireland and the UK.We are now recruiting a Site / Senior Site Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating on-site engineering, quality and technical aspects of modular installation and fit-out. This role offers an opportunity to work on innovative, fast-track projects using modern construction methods.Set out works on site in line with project drawings and specificationsManage all engineering aspects of the project including levels, surveying, and quality checksEnsure that all work is carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and current building regulationsWork closely with the project team to plan, coordinate and deliver works on time and within budgetLiaise with design, production and site management teams to resolve technical issues promptlySupervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality requirementsMaintain site records including daily logs, quality documentation and as-built informationSupport continuous improvement in construction and installation methodsContribute to technical reviews and quality assurance during the offsite manufacturing processAt least 3 years post qualification experience with good knowledge of the sector or experience within a project-based organisation Articulate and numerate capable of delivering reports verbally and written in an objective and persuasive manner Displays good interpersonal and communication skills and acts in an inependent and professional manner with the ability to influence others including senior management Working knowledge of Control of Temporary Works (ability to act as the TWC advantageous) Degree / Diploma in Engineering SMSTS / MSIC First Aid Course Lifting Supervisor Certification Temporary Works Coordinator trained (TWC) Chartered or working towards professional status with Engineers Ireland or Institute of Civil Engineers Vision Built is transforming how buildings are delivered through innovation, sustainability and precision engineering.
