Job Description

The MEYER Group includes our shipyard locations in Papenburg, Rostock, and Wismar, as well as several subsidiary companies. In total, around 5,000 employees work directly for us. Together with this highly qualified network, we build cruise ships, river cruise ships, and ferries for customers worldwide, tailored precisely to their respective markets and target audiences.To strengthen our External Production department, we are currently looking for several Site Managers / Construction Coordinators (m/f/d) for a Job Site in Poland, to start as soon as possible.The main focus areas of the role are:Ensure timely execution of work packages (blocks) at external shipyards, considering quality and costMonitor deadlines in coordination with master planning and subcontractorsManage change requests and error handlingOversee and document inspections and approvalsAssess and evaluate additional work, assigning costs and responsibilitiesCoordinate activities of subcontractors and technical departments/blocksIndependently plan and carry out inspections at external shipyards in coordination with the shipping company and classification societyVerify compliance with class regulations, construction specifications, standards, and normsInitiate problem-solving processes and manage implementationCoordinate interfaces between suppliers, technical office, and productionAct as contact person for the owner and classification society to ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and norms during productionWe expect:Completed three-year technical vocational training, e.g. in shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, or similarProfessional experience in site management, production, or commissioning—ideally in the offshore sectorOptional qualification in surface protection: FROSIO Level 3Expertise in steel construction: IWE, IWI-C, VT2, MT2 or equivalent qualification desirableGood command of English, both written and spokenStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team with internal and external partnersDecisiveness and problem-solving skillsValid driver’s license (Class B)What we offer:An exciting and diverse role in an internationally operating companyFlexible working hours and a team-oriented work environment, along with attractive benefits (e.g., discounted meals and beverages, corporate fitness discounts (Hansefit), bike leasing, DB job ticket, corporate benefits, etc.)Independent work with the opportunity to contribute your own ideas, actively shaping team successAn open and respectful corporate culture, where we pursue goals together with a strong sense of unityA strong focus on work-life balanceIf you have any questions, feel free to contact me at daniels.frolovs@meyerwerft.de.Have we sparked your interest?
