They should be able to concisely and accurately share knowledge with their teammates.About The RoleWe are seeking an organized, detail-obsessed, and solutions-driven Site Operations Technician – Logistics/RMA Specialist to keep our Atlanta, GA data center humming at warp speed. In this role, you’ll be the logistical glue between Sourcing, Hardware Engineering, Network Engineering, and Site Ops — wrangling purchase orders, orchestrating rack deliveries, shipping bleeding-edge hardware, and making RMAs disappear like magic. Ideal candidates live for perfect spreadsheets, can sweet-talk FedEx into same-day miracles, and get a rush from watching a 42U rack roll exactly where it needs to be.Responsibilities Purchase Order ManagementFollow up with suppliers to confirm purchase order delivery timelines and address any discrepancies.Collaborate with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve invoice issues.Document all delivery updates and maintain accurate records.\ Shipping & ReceivingEnsure items delivered to the data center are properly logged in Oracle IMS ERP.Process engineering requests for shipping materials such as optics, switches, and servers.Update the ticketing system with shipment statuses and tracking information.Partner with the Network team to coordinate shipping and delivery tracking to POPs (Points of Presence). Inventory Management & Asset TrackingManage decommissioned hardware transactions in the Oracle ERP system.Create asset part numbers for new items in Oracle.Support Asset Management with cycle counts, annual audits, and resolving inventory discrepancies. RMA OversightProcess, ship, and track all RMA materials sent to vendors, working closely with multiple vendor partners. Required Qualifications2+ years of hardcore shipping/receiving experience in a tech or data center environment.Proven mastery of ERP receiving (Oracle IMS, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics) and creating FedEx/UPS waybills like it’s second nature.Be hungry to learn every part number, serial number, and weird customs form that keeps our clusters fed.Understand the data center playing field — from pallet jacks to PN creation to knowing a Mellanox from a Broadcom at twenty paces.Preferred QualificationsStrong background in shipping, receiving, and inventory management.Experience in warehouse operations, asset auditing, and differentiating between server and network devices/hardware.Proficient in RMA processes for computer or network hardware.Exposure to data center environments.Certified forklift operator.Comfortable lifting 40 lbs or more.Skilled in Microsoft Word/Google Docs for documentation.Clear and professional communication with vendors.BenefitsBase salary is just one part of our total rewards package at X, which also includes equity, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, access to a 401(k) retirement plan, short & long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and various other discounts and perks.xAI is an equal opportunity employer.Recruiting Privacy Notice and California Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) Notice
