Site Safety and Health Officer

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing On-Site safety for big-scale construction projects.Job Responsibilities• Oversee all activities at sites on U.S. military installations.• Perform Daily Site Safety Inspections• Conduct Safety Orientations and Enforce the Contractor’s safety program • Support the development of safety policies and programs• Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses.• Inspect site and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that are dangerous or unhealthy • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management, Write and review all AHAs*Any other works designated by the companyQualifications・Experience• At least 10 years of experience as SSHO• Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety• Experience using MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) in the workplace• OSHA 30 hour construction certificate• The completion of the NAVFAC 24-hour EM 385-1-1 Awareness Course• Completed at least 8 hours of documented formal, online, or self-study safety and health-related trainings in the last 5 consecutive years• Bachelor's degree and/or above in Engineering• Experience in +$2 million budget projectsSalaryTBD※Salary will be determined by one's skill and experience■Job TypeContract (1 year)■Working Hours8:00-17:00 (Lunch break 1h)**Overtime, night shifts, weekend/holiday work may occur■HolidaysSaturdays, Sundays, Other days as specified by the company (120non-working days per year)■BonusTwice a year (July and December)Base salary x 2.0 total (Results from previous year is 3)■BenefitsRelocation allowanceVISA supportOne-way flight ticket to JapanCompany housingOnce again, thank you for your interest in AEC.We are looking forward to your application!
