A leading bank in Geneva is scaling up its real-time data infrastructure to support AI workloads, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). They’re looking for an engineer who knows how to build and run high-throughput streaming systems that don’t buckle under pressure.
What you’ll do: Design and build large-scale streaming pipelines using Kafka, Flink, and BeamHandle real-time data transformation and processingIntegrate streams with the bank’s lakehouse architectureMonitor and fine-tune pipeline performanceWork closely with AI teams to support real-time RAG use casesWhat you bring: 5+ years in streaming/data architectureDeep hands-on with Kafka, Flink, and event-driven systemsStrong programming in Java, Python, or ScalaUnderstanding of event-driven designExperience with cloud-based streaming toolsThe deal: 12-month contract, extension is possibleStart ASAPFully on-site in Geneva, banking sector
