About Mid UK Recycling Ltd / Mountain RecyclingAs part of the Beauparc Group, Mid UK Recycling Ltd / Mountain Recycling is a leading waste management solutions provider committed to sustainable resource recovery and circular economy principles. We're seeking an experienced Skip & RoRo Driver to join our Caythorpe depot and play a vital role in our environmental services operations.The RoleOperating from our Caythorpe site with a typical 6am start, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient collection and transportation of commercial and industrial waste using our modern fleet of skip and roll-on/roll-off vehicles. This position offers consistent Monday-Friday hours with occasional Saturday work, providing excellent work-life balance whilst contributing to essential environmental services.Key Responsibilities Safely operate skip loaders and RoRo vehicles for waste collection and transportation servicesExecute efficient route planning to maximise productivity and minimise environmental impactDeliver exceptional customer service at collection points, ensuring sites are left tidy and bins properly positioned Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with DVSA requirementsMaintain accurate digital records via tablet technology for waste transfer documentationEnsure full compliance with waste duty of care regulations and environmental legislationAdhere to Working Time Directive and drivers' hours regulationsChampion health and safety standards, reporting incidents and near-misses promptlyEssential Requirements Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence with current Driver CPCDigital tachograph cardProven experience in skip/RoRo operations within the waste sector preferredStrong understanding of waste hierarchy and environmental complianceExcellent customer-facing skillsAbility to work independently whilst maintaining communication with transport planningPhysical fitness to handle manual handling aspects of the role What We Offer £20 bonus on Saturday / Sunday & Bank Hols after 6 hours work.Overtime after 40 hours £17.48 Saturday O/T £19.48 Sunday O/T £20.48Regular, predictable hoursFull PPE and uniform providedOngoing training and development opportunitiesCareer progression within a growing environmental services groupModern, well-maintained fleet with latest safety featuresThe Ideal CandidateYou'll be a safety-conscious professional driver who takes pride in vehicle presentation and customer service.
