Role OverviewAs a Social Media Specialist, you will support our clients in acquiring new followers, increasingengagement and scaling their influencer campaigns. This role with core strengths in SocialMedia Strategy, Content Creation, Channel Management, Client Management & CreativeThought Leadership will be instrumental in managing a variety of client accounts while alsospearheading departmental growth initiatives, optimizing processes, and exploring new serviceofferings to expand our capabilities. Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation and ExecutionImplement social media strategies and creative campaigns that align with client goals.
Write compelling captions in a variety of brand voices. Create and curate written, visual, and video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms. Stay ahead of trends and explore innovative ways to improve content performance and engagement, using emerging social and influencer marketing trends to inform strategy. Work closely with the photography and video team to ensure relevant content is captured for use across client accounts.
Contribute to SMC’s blog, social media, or LinkedIn presence with thought leadership in the social media spaceHelp drive internal initiatives that expand the agency’s capabilities in social media and digital marketingChannel Management & EngagementOversee day-to-day management of client social media accounts. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster community and build relationships. Track and analyze performance metrics; adjust campaigns based on insights to meet or exceed KPIs. Client ManagementSupport the team on client management when needed, providing insights and reports on social performance, trends and recommendations.
